Meet Our Church
Our church is a member of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), and is a church that emphasizes the life giving truth of the Bible. Therefore, we provide many opportunities to study the Bible together. We are also a caring community that has a number of opportunities to express our love and support for one another, and especially on Sundays. In our Sunday services, we worship God in Spirit and truth with uplifting music that features our five musical groups, including our Praise Team, and sermons that apply God's truth in the Bible to our everyday lives. Our pastor, Rev. Gary Wetzel, has been faithfully loving and leading us here for the last 24 years. We have many programs and services we provide for those who attend here, including many for children. Our church also has a heart of love for those beyond us. Every year we give 13-22% of what we financially receive to others beyond our church, expressing the love of God in practical ways to others in need.

Our Purpose
Our mission is to glorify Jesus Christ, the Way, the Truth, and the Life,
so that all may come to "Taste and see that the Lord is good."
We will strive to offer the abundant life through the most complete assortment of ministries
and outreach the Lord will provide through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
We will trust in God's Word to inspire, train, and lead us to fulfill the Great Commission,
that we will be found faithful in His sight when He returns.
To God be the glory!
Community and Caring
We are a truly caring community where there are a number of opportunities to express our love and support for one another, and especially on Sundays. In our worship services, there is a time where prayer requests can be given and then we pray for those specific needs in the service. We also enjoy hearing how God has answered our prayers, and we put all these things on a prayer list which we also use to guide our time of prayer during our services. Sometimes, though, one needs more support and caring. So we have three Elders or other members available after every service who will talk with you and pray with you on an individual basis.
After our worship services, we all go out into a spacious room filled with natural light, love seats, chairs, plants, and even a fountain, and where there is food, coffee, and juices, and spend time in a community of love with one another. People will stay 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 40 minutes, and even longer sharing, caring, and supporting one another. Come and experience our family of God's love for yourself.
Reaching Out With God's Love
God has touched our hearts with His love at our church and we want others to experience this love too. So this year we are supporting 20 ministries and causes that pass God's love on to others outside of our church. Locally we are supporting the Community Network Christian prison ministry, New York City Relief which helps homeless and street people, Gateway Pregnancy Centers which assist woman with unwanted pregnancies, and other causes. Internationally, we are supporting a Christian hospital in Jordan, a Christian prison and school ministry in Uganda, a Christian theological school in Sudan, Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship in Ukraine, Wycliffe Bible Translators in Indonesia, and other ministries. Over the past decade, we have given out over $182,000 to others in the name of Jesus and His love. We invite you to join us in spreading God's love to others. Programs, Especially for Children
Our church has an extensive array of programs and services for you. For the complete list, Click Here. One area we specialize in is for children. We have Sunday school classes for all ages, a weekly program for elementary age children called the King's Kids Club, and Vacation Bible School. There are also two music programs for children: the Youth Chorus and the Children's Chime Choir. We also have a staffed nursery for infants and babies during our Sunday morning worship services in the "Tabernacle" room. Jesus cared about the little children and so do we. If you have children, we invite you to come and visit us.
Bible Study and Discussion
Our church offers an extensive program of study and discussion of God's Word in the Bible. Many of us have experienced the life changing effect of applying God's Word to our lives, so we offer many opportunities for others to join us. There are separate adult classes for men and women on Sunday mornings, a Mid-Week Bible Study led by our pastor, a home Bible study, and a couples Bible study. The pastor also leads a series of Inquirer's Classes at least once a year. Please come and join us in studying and discussing the transforming power of God's Word for our lives.
