Scientific Evidence For Creationism & Against Evolution

  1. ALBERT EINSTEIN'S SPECIAL THEORY OF RELATIVITY MAKES POSSIBLE A SIX DAY CREATION AS GIVEN IN GENESIS 1
    1. E=MC2 has since been proven to be true, and says that every specific thing in existence could come from energy converted by God into that specific kind of matter, whether inanimate, plant, or animal, as stated in different wording in Genesis 1 and Hebrews 11:3.
    2. Six 24-hour days for creation are confirmed in Exodus 20:8-11, 31:16-17; and Heb. 4:4.
  2. FROM BIOLOGY AND MATHEMATICS
    1. The complexity, detail, and exactness of living things could only be produced by an intelligence and ability vastly superior to our own – of God.
  3. SCIENTIFIC LAWS AND PRINCIPLES ARE PRODUCED BY CREATION
    1. Sciences such as physics, chemistry, and biology are based on nature/creation, and from these we see order and harmony, and obtain scientific laws and principles.
    2. It is not logical or scientific to say that disorder has produced order and harmony, or that random chance has produced scientific laws and principles. It is more logical and scientific to say that order and harmony, and scientific laws and principles must have been produced by a Master Scientist – by God.
  4. FROM ASTRONOMY
    1. The only way all the conditions in our solar system could be made exactly right to support the life we have, especially with the earth, the sun, the moon, and Jupiter, is by God.
  5. BECAUSE OF THE NATURE OF PEOPLE
    1. Human beings have self-awareness, can create (music, art, etc.), love, and sacrifice among many other things. It is more scientific to think that these things come from our being made in the image of God, than to think that they have been produced by random chance.
  6. MANY SCIENTISTS SAY THAT NATURE AND THE UNIVERSE SHOW THERE IS A GOD
    1. Albert Einstein said, "The scientist is possessed by the sense of universal causation.... His religious feelings take the form of rapturous amazement at the harmony of natural law, which reveals an intelligence of such superiority that compared with it, all the systematic thinking and acting of human beings is an utterly insignificant reflection." Also, Albert Einstein said, "I want to know God's thoughts...the rest are details."
    2. Dr. Wernher von Braun (father of the American space program) said, "One cannot be exposed to the law and order of the universe without concluding that there must be design and purpose behind it all....They [evolutionists] challenge science to prove the existence of God. But must we really light a candle to see the sun?"
  7. NO VESTIGIAL ORGANS, BECAUSE THEY HAVE IMPORTANT FUNCTIONS
    1. Vestigial organs are not useless "leftovers" of evolution from previous species, because they have important functions in the species they are in. For example, the tailbone in people has nine muscles attached to it that help us perform certain functions. And the "vestigial pelvis" in whales that supposedly proves that they once walked on land, actually has muscles attached to it that are necessary for them to be able to reproduce.
    2. "Long regarded as a vestigial organ with no function in the human body, the appendix is now thought to be one of the sites where immune responses are initiated.", Grolier Encyclopedia, 1998.
  8. SCIENTISTS HAVE CONCLUDED THAT ALL HUMANS CAME FROM ONE FEMALE AND FROM ONE MALE
    1. Allan C. Wilson, a biochemist at the University of California at Berkeley, concluded through his study of genes that all humans have a common female ancestor which he nicknamed "Eve".
    2. "...researchers suggest that virtually all modern men – 99.9% of them, says one scientist – are closely related genetically and share genes with one male ancestor, dubbed ‘Y-chromosome Adam.' We are finding that humans have very, very shallow genetic roots which go back very recently to one ancestor, ... that indicates that there was an original in a specific location on the globe, and then it spread out from there.", U.S. News & World Report, December 4, 1995.
  9. SCIENTISTS SAY ALL HUMAN LANGUAGES CAME FROM ONE ORIGINAL LANGUAGE
    1. Professor Alfredo Trombetti claims that he can prove the common origin of all languages. Max Mueller, one of the greatest oriental language scholars, declared that all human languages can be traced back to one, single original language.

IMPORTANT NOTE

CREATIONISM AGREES WITH THE BIBLE AND MAKES GOD TO BE NECESSARY

Throughout the Bible God is acknowledged as the Creator of all things: Genesis 1:1-2:3; Exodus 20:8-11 and 31:16-17; Psalm 33:6-9; Psalm 148:1-6: Isaiah 42:5-7 and 66:2; Jer. 32:17; Acts 17:24-28; Romans 4:17; I Cor. 8:6; II Cor. 4:6; Col. 1:15-17; Hebrews 4:4 and 11:3; and many other Scriptures.

SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE AGAINST EVOLUTION

  1. MICROBIOLOGY AND MATHEMATICS PROVE EVOLUTION IS IMPOSSIBLE
    1. Evolution can not make even one (collagen) protein in the human body. This is because microbiology and mathematics say that to make the first protein (before cells), even if 100 trillion x 100 billion x 100 billion x 100 billion of all 20 of the amino acids necessary to produce proteins were all trying to make this one collagen protein at a rate of one billion times per second, it would still take 101229 years to do it. That is, the number of years is the number one followed by 1,229 zeros. This is far, far longer than the maximum age of the entire universe. And this protein would have no way to reproduce itself. To make another protein, you would have to start all over again. And evolution would still have to produce millions of more proteins in order to produce just one human cell which contains them. And after this it would have to produce 10100 trillion more cells that make up the human body, all the right kind and all the right amount in all the right places. Like making a 3D jigsaw puzzle with 10100 trillion pieces.
    2. If evolution was true, the more complex a plant or animal, the further along the evolutionary path it would be, and the more chromosomes it would have. Instead, while a penicillium has only 2 chromosomes, and a house fly has 12, a piece of lettuce has18. And while a frog has 26, an onion has 32. Also, human beings have 46 chromosomes, but a piece of tobacco has 48, a one cell amoeba has 50, and a fern has 480.
  2. ASTRONOMY
    1. 123 astronomical factors have to all be within certain acceptable ranges in order for a planet to be able to support life. The chances of this happening are 1 in 10161. However, the estimated maximum number of planets in the universe is only 1022. Therefore, statistically, it is not possible to have even one planet be able to support life by random chance through evolution.
  3. THE UNIVERSE IS TOO SMALL AND TOO YOUNG TO PRODUCE LIFE BY EVOLUTION
    1. Even if the universe is 20 billion years old and has 100 billion galaxies, the total chance of evolution producing life as we know it (see I. And II. above) has been estimated by one expert as 1 in 1010,000,000,000. Another expert has estimated that the possibility of evolution through random chance being able to produce even one living cell is I in 10100,000,000,000.
  4. NO CHANGE FROM ONE SPECIES TO ANOTHER HAS EVER BEEN OBSERVED
    1. Yet this is necessary for evolution to work.
  5. MUTATIONS DO NOT MAKE ENOUGH POSITIVE CHANGES FOR EVOLUTION TO WORK
    1. Biologists have estimated that the ratio of helpful to harmful mutations is anywhere from 1 to 10,000 to 1 to 1,000,000,000, depending on the circumstances and the biologist. This makes evolution work too slowly to be successful.
  6. THERE ARE NO MILLIONS OF "INBETWEENERS" IN THE FOSSIL RECORD
    1. If evolution were true, there should be many, many living things between each known type of plant and species of animal, totaling in the hundreds of millions. The fossil record only shows known types of plants and animals, whether ancient or recent, and none of the hundreds of millions of "inbetweeners" evolution says should be there.
    2. "As by this theory innumerable transitional forms must have existed, why do we not find them embedded in countless numbers in the crust of the earth?", Charles Darwin.
    3. "I fully agree with your comments on the lack of evolutionary transitions in my book. If I knew of any, fossil or living, I would certainly included them. I will lay it on the line – there is not one such fossil...", Dr. Colin Paterson, Senior Paleontologist of the British Museum of Natural History.
  7. EVOLUTION DOES NOT FIT THE DEFINITION OF A SCIENCE
    1. A science is observable, measurable, and repeatable.
    2. Evolution is made up of many theories and ideas, assumptions and conjectures that can not be scientifically proven, but must be accepted by belief.
    3. When something is accepted by belief, it forms the basis of a religion. Therefore, evolution is more a religion than a science.
    4. "Evolution is unproved and unprovable. We believe it only because the only alternative is special creation, and that is unthinkable.", Sir Arthur Keith, who wrote the forward to the 100th anniversary edition of Charles Darwin's Origin of the Species.
    5. "Scientists who go about teaching that evolution is a fact of life are great con-men, and the story they are telling may be the greatest hoax ever. In explaining evolution, we do not have one iota of fact.", Dr. T. N. Tahmisian of the Atomic Energy Commission.
  8. IT VIOLATES THE SECOND LAW OF THERMODYNAMICS OF PHYSICS
    1. This states that the nature of the universe is becoming less organized and more spread out and diffused.
    2. Evolution states that things are becoming more organized, interrelated and complex in the universe.
  9. NATURAL SELECTION AND SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST CAN NOT CAUSE VARIATIONS IN A SPECIES OR NEW SPECIES
    1. They can only determine which variations of species which already exist will survive in an environment.
    2. Evolutionists agree that what produces the actual changes in things are mutations by random chance.
  10. IF THERE WAS SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST BETWEEN SPECIES, WHY DO LOWER SPECIES STILL EXIST?
    1. Survival of the fittest between varieties of a species has been scientifically proven.
    2. However, if survival of the fittest between different species existed as evolution says, then the next positively mutated form of a species would succeed in outliving the previous inferior form of the species until none of the inferior ones were left. As this happened along each step of the evolutionary process, the previous inferior form of the species would die off over and over again. This would cause all previous species to die and no longer exist. However, obviously, this is not true. Therefore, evolution can not be true.
  11. HISTORICALLY, SCIENCE HAS PROVEN ITSELF WRONG OVER AND OVER
    1. New scientific discoveries have invalidated previous ones time and again.
    2. This has almost always happened because the assumptions scientists have made prove to be wrong.
    3. Evolution is based on many assumptions, a number of which have already been proven to be wrong.

REFUTING EVOLUTIONS CLAIMS

  1. EVEN EVOLUTIONISTS ADMIT THAT EVOLUTION IS UNPROVABLE, AND THAT IT IS UNKNOWN HOW IT COULD HAVE TAKEN PLACE IN MANY INSTANCES
    1. "Evolution is unproved and unprovable. We believe it only because the only alternative is special creation, and that is unthinkable.", Sir Arthur Keith, who wrote the forward to the 100th anniversary edition of Charles Darwin's "The Origin of Species".
    2. "To suppose that the eye, with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selection seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree....", Charles Darwin.
  2. THERE ARE NO MILLIONS OF "INBETWEENERS" IN THE FOSSIL RECORD
    1. If evolution were true, there should be many, many living things between each known type of plant and species of animal, totaling in the hundreds of millions. The fossil record only shows known types of plants and animals, whether ancient or recent, and none of the hundreds of millions of "inbetweeners" evolution says should be there.

  3. NATURAL SELECTION AND SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST TAKES PLACE ONLY WITHIN SPECIES
    1. It is well established that natural selection and survival of the fittest takes place within species.
    2. It does not take place between species because of the "balance of nature", the "food chain", and the interdependence of species on one another. In fact, when people kill all of one species in an environment, or introduce a new one foreign to it, this throws off the entire environment.
    3. Neither natural selection nor survival of the fittest can produce new species.
  4. GEOLOGIC COLUMNS OF FOSSILS ARE NOT UNIFORM
    1. All of the levels or layers of the evolutionary geologic column can rarely, if ever be found in one place. Usually, only two or three levels are found in one place. Also, these columns are not uniform with the fossils of the simplest living things on the bottom working up to the most complex on the top. Instead, columns will have fossils all mixed up, with more complex ones underneath more simple ones. The only place a geologic column can be found with all the layers of the simplest fossils on the bottom working up to the most complex at the top is in an evolutionary textbook, not in any place in reality.
    2. Trees have been found in many places standing up in a vertical position that goes through a number of layers in a geologic column indicating that the layers were not laid down over many years, but at one single occurrence.
    3. The general lack of erosion between layers in geologic columns indicates that the layers were not laid down over many years, but in a very short time.
    4. A world-wide flood as the Bible states took place would create thousands of feet of sediment filled with dead animals and plants that would settle into layers as the waters receded. Fossils will only form in mud, and here is the explanation for where all the mud came from, for three quarters of the earth's continental surfaces are composed of sedimentary rock that has been laid down by water. This sedimentary rock is even found on the tops of mountains, including a 3,000 foot layer on the top of Mount Everest filled with closed clam shells (indicating that they died very suddenly). Such a huge amount of receding water would also carve deep features into the ground in a matter of days instead of millions of years. The fact that about 300 different cultures all over the world have independently kept an account of a world flood back in their history indicates that it actually happened.
    5. The other one quarter of the earth's continental surfaces is composed largely of rock laid down by igneous (volcanic) activity. When Mount St. Helens erupted in 1980, it laid down hundreds of feet of layered sediments in hours, not millions of years. It would not take millions of years to produce the sedimentary rocks we observe as the evolutionists say.
  5. RADIOMETRIC DATING METHODS HAVE MANY PROBLEMS
    1. There are many problems with carbon 14 dating. Some of these are pointed out in the book Creation Science Evangelism, pages 44-45, by Dr. Kent Hovind.
    2. Other radiometric dating methods also have problems. See the book Bone of Contention: Is Evolution True?, pages 22-25, by Sylvia Baker.
    3. Examples of Radiometric Dating Errors
      1. "Basalt from Mt. Etna, Sicily (122 BC) gave KAR age of 250,000 years old." and "Lava from the 1801 Hawaiian volcano eruption gave a KAR date of 1.6 million years old.", by G. B. Dalyrmple of 1969 40Ar/36Ar analysis of historic lava flows in "Earth and Planetary Science Letters", 6-47 55.
      2. Shells from living snails were carbon dated as being 27,000 years old. "Science", vol. 224, 1984, pages 58-61.
      3. "The unreliability of the radioactive dating methods is well illustrated by the fact that rock samples from 22 volcanic rocks in various parts of the world that are known to have been formed during the past 200 years gave ages ranging from 100 million to 10,000 million years by typical radioactive techniques.", "Bone of Contention: Is Evolution True?", page 25.
  6. THERE ARE NO VESTIGIAL ORGANS IN ANIMALS

  7. EMBRYOS DO NOT SHOW EVOLUTION
    1. Embryos of different species are different from the moment of conception. Since they are not the same, they do not show evolution.
    2. Human embryos do not have "gill slits" like a fish. This was shown in 1874 to be a fraudulent presentation.
  8. MANY CAVEMEN ARE MISIDENTIFIED
    1. Piltdown Man was put in textbooks for over 40 years and hundreds of papers were written about it as an ancestor of modern people. However it was discovered that its skull was human while its jawbone was actually from an ape.
    2. Heidelberg Man consists only of a jaw bone which is from a human.
    3. Neanderthal Man Dr. A. J. E. Cave at the International Congress of Zoology in 1958 said that his examination of the skeleton showed it to be an old man who had arthritis.
    4. Lucy is now believed to not be a missing link, but a skeleton of a three foot tall chimpanzee.
    5. Homo Erectus "A geologist at the Berkeley Geochronology Center, Swisher uses the most advanced techniques to date human fossils. Last spring he was reevaluating Homo erectus skulls found in Java in the 1930s by testing the sediment he found with them. A hominid species assumed to be an ancestor of Homosapiens, ‘Erectus' was thought to have vanished some 250,000 years ago. But even though he used two different dating methods, Swisher kept making the same startling find: the bones were 53,000 years old at most and possibly no more than 27,000 years, a stretch of time contemporaneous with modern humans.", "Newsweek, December 23, 1996, page 52.
    6. Peking Man is supposed to be 500,000 years old, but all the fossil evidence that could support this has disappeared.
    7. Nebraska Man consisted of one tooth that was found, and this was found out to be from an extinct pig.
    8. Cro-Magnon Man is simply a type of modern man.
  9. COAL, OIL, NATURAL GAS, AND DIAMONDS COULD HAVE BEEN PRODUCED RECENTLY
    1. Coal comes from huge amounts of plant matter, while oil and natural gas come from huge amounts of animal matter. The most logical time for all this plant and animal matter to die to begin the process of becoming coal, oil and natural gas was during the Flood. Most diamonds are found near the neck of an extinct volcano, and are likely formed from the high pressure of volcanic activity which could have taken place in recent times.
  10. HOMOLOGY – ANIMALS HAVING SIMILAR PARTS – DOES NOT INDICATE EVOLUTION, BUT THAT THEY HAD THE SAME DESIGNER – GOD
    1. If homology came from evolution and from one common ancestor, then it should be true in all animals, but it is not.
    2. If homology came from evolution, then when a homologous body part in different species develops in the womb, it should develop at the same time, with the same cells, in the same area, but they do not.
    3. If homology came from evolution, then homologous body parts should come from the same area of DNA and genes in the different species, but, instead, they almost always come from different areas of DNA and genes in different species.
  11. THE EARTH'S PLATES CAN NOT BE PROVED TO HAVE MOVED FOR MILLIONS OF YEARS
    1. To say they have moved for millions of years is speculation and conjecture. There is another explanation for how the continents got the way they are. In Genesis 7:11 it says that "all the springs of the great deep burst forth" besides "the floodgates of the heavens were opened," and this tremendous amount of water shooting up through the crust of the earth would have caused major, permanent changes to the continents.

IMPORTANT NOTE

EVOLUTION MAKES GOD SUPERFLUOUS AND THE BIBLE WRONG

For this reason alone, besides all the scientific evidence, evolution should not be accepted by Christians. Evolution has no place for God or says that if God was involved in creation at all, it was only in starting things with a "big bang", and after that everything came about by natural causes. This would give us a God who is not personally involved with us. We know the opposite is true. We know that God is not only personally involved with us, but loves us very much and sent His only Son Jesus Christ, to not only show us who God is, but how we can live. He then died on the cross in our place for our sins so that we could be united by faith with this God into a personal relationship that begins now and will go on for all eternity with Him in heaven. This is a God worthy to be worshipped; the One who created you and me and everything else in heaven and on earth.

LET US ALSO REMEMBER

Jesus said, "You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.", Matthew 22:29. This would especially apply to those who only believe in evolution.

And "We live by faith, not by sight.", II Corinthians 5:7. This is the ultimate reason why we believe in creationism; because of our faith in God through the Bible, and not just the scientific evidence presented here.

"Blessed be your glorious name, and may it be exalted above all blessing and praise. You alone are the Lord. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you."
