The Unrighteousness of Anger

"Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret - it leads only to evil.", Psalm 37:8.

"An angry man stirs up dissension, and a hot-tempered one commits many sins.", Pro. 29:22

"Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools.", Ecc. 7:9

"You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'Do not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.' 22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca,' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell.", Mat. 5:21-22.

"The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: ...; 20...; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, ...21... I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.", Gal. 5:19-21.
