ACTS 5

  3. What effect did this have on other people, both inside and outside of the church? (5:5, 11) Why do you think what happened to Ananias and Sapphira does not happen today? If it did, what do you think would be the effect on people?
  4. How are verses 12 and 15-16 an answer to the prayers of the believers in the early church in chapter 4? (5:12, 15-16) Is God answering our prayers like this today? Why is he, or is he not?

  7. When the temple guard went to arrest the apostles again, why did they not use force? (5:26) What does this tell us?

  9. What did the Sanhedrin want to do to the apostles at first? (5:33) How and by whom were they persuaded differently? (5:34-39) What can we learn from his advice for our own lives? What did the Sanhedrin actually do? (5:40) How did the apostles respond to this? (5:41-42) How do you think you would have responded?
