- What definition of faith is given in this chapter? (Verse 1) Is this how you usually think of faith? Is this the kind of faith that you have?
- When the book of Hebrews was written, verse 3 says that it is by faith that we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. Now, however, in our time, how has Albert Einstein shown that it is a scientific fact?

- This chapter of Hebrews recounts for us how certain people of God lived by faith and what they accomplished through it. What stands out to you from this and why? (v. 4-12, 17-38)
