The Power of God's Promises

Joshua 1:7-8, Luke 11:27-28, II Timothy 3:14-17

Introduction

God promises to bless your life in many ways if you will hear, read, meditate, and study His Word.

How God's Word Will Bless Your Life

"...teach me your ways so I may know you and continue to find favor with you.", Exodus 33:13.

" Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.", Joshua 1:8.

"I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.", Psalm 119:11. Also, John 15:3.

"Your commands make me wiser than my enemies, for they are ever with me. I have more insight than all my teachers, for I meditate on your statutes. I have more understanding than the elders, for I obey your precepts.", Psalm 119:98-100. Also, Psalm 119:130.

"Great peace have they who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.", Psalm 119:165.

"May my lips overflow with praise, for you teach me your decrees.", Psalm 119:171.

"To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, 'If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.' ", John 8:31-32. Also, Psalm 119:45.
