He asked God for what he needed.

He turned to God to bless him, and not to things.
Do you also?
He didn't tell God how to bless him, or when, or where, or in what way.
How do you ask God to bless you?
This showed his trust in God.
This let God work in his life His way, which leads to true happiness.
God wants to bless us.
